Business Development Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Business Development Manager to lead the Company’s business growth initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate shall be responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s business development strategy, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, establishing strategic relationships, and supporting the achievement of the Company’s growth and revenue objectives. The role requires a commercially driven professional with extensive experience within the Saudi and wider GCC construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Company’s Business Development Strategy.
- Prepare annual business plans and growth targets.
- Identify market sectors aligned with the Company’s capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Establish sector-specific growth strategies and client engagement plans.
- Monitor market trends and recommend strategic initiatives to support business growth.
- Position the Company for major projects, framework agreements, and strategic appointments.
- Lead business development activities from opportunity identification through award.
- Promote repeat business opportunities and long-term client relationships.
- Represent the Company at industry events, conferences, and business forums.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships, consortium arrangements, and joint venture opportunities.
- Develop relationships with international and regional organisations that complement the Company’s capabilities and support market growth.
- Provide regular market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Support prequalification submissions, client presentations, and tender pursuits.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Marketing, or related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development within construction, contracting, fit-out, engineering, real estate, or project delivery sectors.
- Demonstrated experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record in securing major projects and developing strategic client relationships.
- Established network across the Saudi construction and development market.
- Experience engaging with senior executives, government entities, developers, and consultants.
