A multi-million dollar expansion and renovation of the Four Seasons Riyadh Hotel is underway.

The project includes the introduction of female-only facilities including a floor and a gym dedicated exclusively to women travellers. In addition, 45 rooms will be added to the 249-room property and a new multi-buffet restaurant concept ‘Elements’ has been launched.

In an interview with Arab News, the newly-appointed general manager Greg Pirkle said: “The 48th and 50th floors, where we used to have private apartments, have been converted into two premium accommodation floors’.

The 50th floor is designed for female travellers only, and the new 90 sq m gym for women is expected to open in quarter three of this year, the report added.

A new signature suite the ‘Kingdom Suite’ will be added as part of the renovation, covering an area of 330sq m.

The lobby lounge of the hotel has been transformed into a “vibrant meeting place” for light meals, afternoon tea and cakes and pastries, according to Pirkle.
