MEP Document Controller

Description

Assisting the Project Manager with organizing all communication and correspondence documentation to facilitate project work
Documenting and arranging all incoming and outgoing emails and documents & file documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
Good knowledge of Using Aconex
Background of MEP systems and services
Set up, copy, scan and store documents
Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
updating manpower position and work allocation reports daily as received from Site Engineers
Recording all bills and expenditures related to the project site
Recording all PR’s and PO’s to the project site
To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners’ Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company’s operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Must have a University Degree in BA or related field
Must have 5 – 7 years of experience working as a MEP Document Controller
Experience working in an Engineering / Construction company
Strong in MS office including outlook, excel and word, power Point and Adobe software
The ability to multitask
Highly organized
Excellent communication skills
Proficient typing skills
Minute taking
